Peter Anthony Surdo, 83, of Osprey, FL, formerly of Mt. Prospect, originally of Mola di Bari, Italy, passed away peacefully December 29, 2016. Peter was the beloved husband of Giovanna for 60 years. Loving father of Antoinette (David) Christopher, Anna (Tom) Babin, Linda (Bill) Galanis. Cherished grandfather of Michael and Kelly Christopher, Adam and Julianna Babin, Daniel, Angelisa and Christina Galanis. Dear brother of Rosa (the late Floriano) Rago. Fond uncle of many. Preceded in death by his parents Leonardo and Antonia Surdo and his brothers Bruno and Vincent Surdo.
